What does HAZWOPER training serve? This course is designed for high-risk workers who perform duties that could expose them to hazardous materials directly or indirectly.
For their own safety as well as the safety of their coworkers, those who are involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations, emergency response operations, storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances, or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites, need to be aware of these standards.
